About Kubota

Although Kubota is a relative newcomer to the United States and other

international markets, having introduced its first sub-compact tractor

in the U.S. in 1969, it has been a manufacturer in Japan since 1890 and

today sells equipment in more than 110 countries. Prior to entering the construction equipment industry in 1953 and developing the first Japanese farm tractor for sale in 1960, Osaka, Japan,-based Kubota was known for producing cast iron pipes and valves for water supply, sewer, and rainwater drainage. It still offers many of those same products, along with vending machines, engines, and combine harvesters and rice transplanters.

Kubota’s agricultural line covers a range of tractors for sale, including four-wheel drive compact utility tractors, models for light construction and small farming, all-purpose agriculture tractors, and backhoe and loader tractors. Kubota mowers include the T Series, F Series, GR Series, and Z Series, as well as walk-behind mowers featuring either gear or hydro-drive. The company’s Kubota RTV Series utility vehicles first went on sale in the U.S. in 2004. Kubota also sells hay and forage equipment, including disc mowers, disc mower conditioners, rotary tedders, rotary rakes, balers, and wrappers.
